Sunny Sips

Hi, My Name is Sunny, and I am a 15-year-old Chincoteague pony. My mom and dad won me in a raffle when I was 4 months old. My mom was so happy to own a piece of Chincoteague history.

I grew up on a farm on the mainland till my first job came along. My friend Red Dawn and I were greeters at the Days Inn for 3 years, where we told the guest all about the Chincoteague pony, our history, and, of course, ourselves.  We were always hoping they would bring carrots!!!

Then Mom found a place where I could do great things.  So now I work as a therapy pony and do summer camp with kids, along with riding lessons. I also work with soldiers, police, and firefighters who need my help. I miss my Mom, but she comes to visit me and Laura in PA along with the rest of my posse.

Mom said she worried, and she thinks I might outlive her, so she is starting a Lemonade stand on Chincoteague to pay for my retirement home.  Stop by to see her and hear all about her plans.
